Toxicology is often perceived through the lens of warnings, hazards, and potential risks. However, understanding the impact of chemicals requires more than identifying what may be harmful. It requires exploring the evidence, context, mechanisms, uncertainties, and real-world implications behind scientific findings. TOXICOLOGIST aims to move beyond simplified messages by connecting diverse sources of knowledge and expertise to build a deeper understanding of toxicological challenges. Through evidence integration, multidisciplinary perspectives, and contextualized communication, we seek to transform complex scientific information into meaningful insights that support informed discussions, innovation, and solution-oriented approaches in toxicology.

UNDESTANDING IS NOT SIMPLIFICATION

This approach is not intended to simplify science for lay audiences, but to support understanding across all levels of professionals. It includes not only explaining findings, but also connecting them across disciplines, highlighting their limitations, and presenting results in a clear, structured way.

HOW DO WE DO THIS?

The information generated by TOXICOLOGIST is the result of transparent, structured, and contextualized research. The content produced within this project is shared as contextualized material in our blog, in text and other media formats. This project is based on three core principles:
(i) scientific evidence synthesis — grounded in peer-reviewed research and official sources;
(ii) multidisciplinary perspective — because complex questions rarely belong to a single field;
(iii) contextualized communication — ensuring that scientific outcomes are presented within the appropriate context for clear understanding.
Beyond sharing evidence, this space also serves as a place to explore ideas, reflect on scientific practice, and contribute to a more accessible and constructive view of toxicology.
