Felipe Vidal, PhD, ERT

I am a Toxicologist (PhD) and European Registered Toxicologist (ERT, EUROTOX), with a background in Pharmacy and expertise spanning evidence-based science, regulatory toxicology, and scientific communication. My current work focuses on the evaluation, integration, and regulatory application of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), with a particular interest in translating scientific evidence into robust and regulatory-relevant decisions.

My professional experience encompasses regulatory toxicology and consultancy, complemented by an academic background in the hazard and risk assessment of endocrine-disrupting compounds using both in vitro and in vivo approaches.

I found TOXICOLOGIST as a free, independent, and collaborative hub intended to support the wider toxicological community. The platform aim to facilitate collaboration on research projects, grant proposals, fundraising, training, and innovative scientific initiatives, while promoting knowledge exchange, critical thinking, and evidence-based toxicology.

I also lead CEINTOX (Center for Interdisciplinary Toxicology), a non-profit initiative based in Germany, where our projects on research, training, and evidence-based advisory support, take a more formal, institutional shape.
